Ongoing initiatives

The Trust honours the memory of players of an ongoing era by inviting family members of such deceased players from time to time to attend a game at Tallaght Stadium and to make a presentation in the shape of a silver plaque etc to family groups.

A permanent home

The Trust will aim to bring the entire historical collection under one roof in the form of a club museum where everyone can visit to view the history of Shamrock Rovers, its many great players – living and deceased, and to learn the history behind many of the great occasions in which the club has been involved.

Update September 2026
